I caught the travel bug a long time ago! I have been to 48 countries, 14 states, and 135 cities! I have such a passion for traveling, adventure and exploring new places. It's a big world and there are so many amazing things to experience!!
I love giving tips and suggestions to my friends so I thought why not share it with everyone. I assure you that I am not going to recommend or promote something I do not support or believe in or would not use myself. All recommendations will have the Sailor Girl stamp of approval!
In fact, the whole team that I work with are ALL travel bugs. If we’re not traveling for work, most of us are finding somewhere to travel in our land time. And if I haven’t been somewhere you’re looking to go, the odds are very high that I know someone who has! Between all of us, we’ve covered every continent in the world!
who i am
I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska. I'm a big Huskers fan -- Go Big Red!! Right now I am living in Orlando, FL where I get to work and play full-time at Disney.....I LOVE my job!! I moved to FL in 2007. I said one year.......it’s been thirteen..ha. The most rewarding aspect of my role is creating magical experience our guests. For the last 8 years I have had the privilege of being part of our Cruise Team, where I work onboard the 4 ships in the Disney Fleet. I work with amazing people!! They are not only co-workers, but family. I have been very fortunate to get to travel for a living. I have been all over the world and seen incredible, amazing, wonderful, spectacular things!!! This is how I've gained all this knowledge and what has made me who I am today. I have learned so much, I want to share it with you. Work Hard, Play Hard is my philosophy........and that's exactly what I live by. When we go to the ports of call during a cruise, we do not have a lot of time at these places; I will always find something to do and make the most out of it that I can. I want you to get the most out of your time on vacations too and to have the best experience possible!! Time is precious. Make It Count!!!

I have amazing friends and family. I am very thankful that they are in my life! I'm an auntie of two. I don't go anywhere without my camera. Pictures are a BIG part of who I am. I am fully aware I am picture happy...ha. All the pictures on my website are pictures I have taken. I’m a foodie; there will be posts and pictures about food. I am always up for an adventure. Disney is in my DNA; Magic and Pixie Dust do exist. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. What's meant to be will be.
